A home loan is the biggest money decision most South Africans will ever make. Twenty years, two million rand, and a monthly repayment that quietly eats a third of your take-home pay. The numbers matter, and small changes — an extra R500 a month, a rate move of half a percent, a lump sum from a bonus — can move the total by hundreds of thousands of rand over the life of the bond.
Most people never see those numbers laid out. Bond originators quote you the monthly and move on. Cashflow Voyager is the tool I wanted when I was signing mine.
